About this painting

Three heavy forms balance down a peach canvas: a rust-brown wedge with a pebbled, grainy skin, a white block trowelled into swirls, and a butter-yellow slab carved with short ridges. They meet at a single point where the brown wedge rests on the white, marked by two small raised ovals, one navy and one rust.

Thin gold lines wander across the smooth peach ground like contours on a map, passing behind and in front of the forms. Each block has a different surface, rough, swirled and ridged, set against a background that stays completely flat and quiet.

MA#875 is an original minimalist geometric painting showing three textured plaster shapes in terracotta, white and cream with gold lines on peach, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a sculpted relief surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Its colours come from natural materials, so it settles beside travertine, rattan, boucle and pale oak. In a spa reception the rust wedge picks up terracotta tiles or clay vessels; in a bedroom it sits comfortably over a cream upholstered headboard. The relief needs light from above or the side rather than from directly behind the viewer, otherwise the pebbled surface flattens out.

Specified for spa & wellness, lobby & reception, living room and bedroom; it reads as cozy & warm and peaceful.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for MA#875 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Because the surface is not rolled, the choice is between stretched, ready to hang, and stretched in a frame; a frame costs more.
Surface
Sculpted relief is built up in layers with drying time between them, so it costs more than a flat painting of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on MA#875 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

What are the two small blue and rust shapes at the centre of MA#875?

They are the smallest raised forms on the canvas, a navy oval and a rust one, set at the single point where the brown wedge rests on the white block. Navy appears nowhere else in the picture, the one cool note among peach, rust and cream, which is why that spot registers first.

Does MA#875 suit a cool grey interior?

It leans warm, so in a grey room it becomes the warm accent rather than part of the scheme. That works if the rust is repeated somewhere else, a cushion or a ceramic, so the brown wedge does not look isolated. Against blue-grey the peach can turn orange; greige is the safer grey.

Is MA#875 a print or an original painting?

An original. MA#875 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of MA#875 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
