About this painting

A burnt orange mass swells from the right side while a navy and tan form climbs the left, leaving a pale plaster channel between them where thin gold lines wander down from the top.

The orange is the thickest part, built up in swirled, lumpy ridges you could almost trace with a finger. The navy shape is rougher and granular, its lower edge washed with a gold patch, and the tan shape above it is smoother. Across the off-white ground fine knife scratches run in every direction, and gold flecks drift on a diagonal, upper right down towards lower left, linking the two sides.

MA#881 is an original minimalist painting showing plaster field with orange, brown and navy organic shapes and gold lines, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a sculpted relief surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Deep relief rewards a light source to one side: a wall-washer, or a window at right angles to the canvas, makes the orange ridges throw real shadow. Dark veined marble, walnut slats and charcoal stone all suit it, because the navy and gold already live in those materials. In an executive office or reception hang it opposite the door; the colour masses hold up across a large room while the pale centre keeps it light.

Specified for lobby & reception, workspace & office, gallery & retail and living room; it reads as uplifting and bold.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for MA#881 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Because the surface is not rolled, the choice is between stretched, ready to hang, and stretched in a frame; a frame costs more.
Surface
Sculpted relief is built up in layers with drying time between them, so it costs more than a flat painting of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on MA#881 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Does the gold in MA#881 shine?

It reads as a warm golden colour with a soft sheen rather than a mirror finish. The thin wavy lines and scattered flecks catch the light as you move past, but they stay secondary to the orange and navy masses that carry the composition.

Could the burnt orange in MA#881 be replaced with another colour?

Yes. The orange mass on the right can be repainted in terracotta, ochre or a muted sage while the navy, tan and gold stay as they are, so the balance holds. A softer colour on that side makes the piece calmer, better for a quiet boardroom or a bedroom.

Is MA#881 a print or an original painting?

An original. MA#881 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of MA#881 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
