Nested black arches on terracotta and cream wall art

A stack of thin black lines bends into a nested arch on the left of the canvas, rising from the bottom edge like a rainbow drawn with a ruler.

Behind it a tall cream arch sweeps up from the left and curves down the right side, with a paler grey-beige shadow tucked inside its bend, all set on a burnt orange field. At the bottom right a solid chocolate-brown dome pushes up beside the line drawing, the one heavy shape in an otherwise airy design. The paint is matte and flat with crisp edges, so the contrast between fine line and solid mass does all the work.

MA#405 is an original minimalist geometric painting showing nested black arch lines over cream and orange geometric shapes, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

The arches echo arched doorways, round mirrors and curved banquettes, so it settles easily into a dining room or café that already uses rounded forms. At the tallest size it can stand in for an architectural feature on a blank stretch of lobby wall, or fill the narrow pier between two windows. Its colours want warm light; under cool white lamps the burnt orange turns brick-like and the cream looks grey. Keep the surrounding wall white or warm greige rather than another strong colour.

Specified for restaurant & bar, lobby & reception, dining room and living room; it reads as bold and cozy & warm.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

Trade prices for MA#405 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
