About this painting

A broad terracotta stroke climbs diagonally over the upper part of the canvas, and everything below seems to hang from that one confident sweep. Beneath it a dusky blue wedge, a mustard-ochre bar and a soft sand-peach patch step down the left and centre, while a black upright mark at lower right is crossed by a thin bar of pale mint.

Fine lines worked over the colour, some white and scratched, some dark and looping, tie the shapes together like handwriting across a page. The paint is flat, with dry-brush drag visible in the terracotta and ochre, and the lower left is left as almost empty cream.

AA#672 is an original abstract geometric painting showing terracotta, ochre, teal and black blocks with scribbled lines on cream, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

In a restaurant, put it where a banquette run ends and diners face it: terracotta and ochre are warm food colours, and the black mark gives the cream ground enough weight to hold its own in a busy room. Limewashed or clay-plaster walls, oak, cane seating and terracotta tile suit it. In a home office, the scribbled lines give the wall a working, sketchbook feel rather than a decorative one.

Specified for corridor & circulation, dining room, restaurant & bar and home office; it reads as uplifting and cozy & warm.

Pairs well with

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for AA#672 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Flat brushwork takes less paint and time than impasto or relief work of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on AA#672 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

What are the thin scribbled lines across AA#672?

Lines drawn over the colour blocks once they were laid: white ones that cut into the terracotta and mustard, and darker looping ones that wander across the cream. They are loose on purpose, like notes in a margin, and they give the composition its handmade, unplanned feel.

Is AA#672 closer to mid-century or wabi-sabi in feel?

It sits between the two. The block shapes and the terracotta, mustard and teal palette recall mid-century modern textiles, while the worn cream ground, uneven edges and loose lines bring the quieter, imperfect look of wabi-sabi rooms. It works in a walnut-and-mustard scheme or a limewash-and-raw-oak one.

Is AA#672 a print or an original painting?

An original. AA#672 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of AA#672 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
