About this painting

Two thin black lines wander down the canvas like loose thread: one falls from the top edge to a small black block at lower right, the other drops through the sand-coloured shape to the bottom. Around them sit three larger forms: a dark rounded stone at top left, a sand-peach mass along the lower left and a rust-terracotta curve filling most of the right side.

The white ground is swept with horizontal trowel marks, and the coloured shapes are built up over it. Tiny gold flecks show only up close. An open white channel down the middle keeps the picture airy despite the heavy black.

TA#211 is an original textured geometric painting showing textured plaster shapes in beige, rust and black with a black line on white, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Rust, sand and black are a natural match for cognac leather, tobacco-coloured upholstery and dark-stained joinery, the palette of many executive offices and private studies. The shapes are big and simple, so in an entryway it reads instantly from the front door: hang it on the wall you face as you come in, at eye level rather than high. A charcoal wall turns the white ground into a bright panel.

Specified for workspace & office, meeting & boardroom, home office and entryway & hallway; it reads as cozy & warm and peaceful.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for TA#211 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Because the surface is not rolled, the choice is between stretched, ready to hang, and stretched in a frame; a frame costs more.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on TA#211 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

What does the black line in TA#211 represent?

Nothing literal. It works as a drawn thread that ties the separate shapes together, and its meandering course can be read as a footpath or a stream seen from above. Its thinness against the heavy plaster forms is the main contrast in the composition.

Will TA#211 suit a room with grey furniture?

Yes, if the greys are warm. The rust and sand shapes need something earthy nearby, so taupe, mushroom or greige upholstery works better than blue-grey. The black stone and lines link easily to black metal lamps, picture-light fittings or chair legs.

Is TA#211 a print or an original painting?

An original. TA#211 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of TA#211 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
