About this painting

Three stones lean together on a greige ground: a large copper-brown one with a gritty, pitted crust, a small rust pebble wedged above it, and a broad white stone at the base worked in trowelled plaster. Two thin gold lines wander down through them like loose threads.

The copper surfaces are granular, like weathered sandstone, while the white stone is scored with criss-cross cuts and trowel ridges. A soft pale halo rims the white stone so it seems lit from behind, white flecks scatter at top right and lower left, and most of the upper half is left as flat greige to give the heavy forms room.

TA#602 is an original textured painting showing textured copper stones, a white plaster stone and gold lines on greige, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a sculpted relief surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Copper and greige sit naturally with walnut, travertine, bouclé and brushed bronze, and they stay warm under the cooler LED light of a boardroom. There, choose the short wall facing the door so people see the stones before they sit down. A ceiling track aimed from one side matters more than brightness: both the gritty copper crust and the scored white plaster go flat under light that hits them head-on.

Specified for lobby & reception, corridor & circulation, meeting & boardroom and entryway & hallway; it reads as peaceful and cozy & warm.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for TA#602 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Because the surface is not rolled, the choice is between stretched, ready to hang, and stretched in a frame; a frame costs more.
Surface
Sculpted relief is built up in layers with drying time between them, so it costs more than a flat painting of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on TA#602 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

What do the three stacked stones in TA#602 stand for?

Nothing as literal as a story. A stone stack is a familiar image of balance and stillness, which is why the motif turns up in spa and wabi-sabi interiors. Here the real subject is the contrast between rough copper and pale plaster, with the gold lines tying the forms together.

Will the gold lines in TA#602 clash with chrome or steel fittings?

Unlikely, because the lines are fine and few, so they behave as warm highlights rather than a metal finish. They sit most easily beside brass or bronze. For a strictly cool scheme the lines can be painted in black or silver-grey instead, keeping the copper stones and greige ground as they are.

Is TA#602 a print or an original painting?

An original. TA#602 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of TA#602 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
