About this painting

Sculpted ridges sweep across the canvas on a rising diagonal, coffee brown in the upper left fading through caramel and sand to near-white cream at the lower right.

The picture holds no horizon and nothing to name; it is all surface, like a dune or a sandstone face cut by wind. Every band is combed with fine parallel grooves, and the crests between bands stand up in real relief, so each ridge throws a thin shadow onto the one below. The dark upper half is quieter and flatter, while the cream lower half is where the plaster is deepest and catches the most light.

TA#1034 is an original textured landscape painting showing sculpted plaster waves in brown, beige and white, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a sculpted relief surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 11 standard sizes run from 36×18 in (91×46 cm) to 100×50 in (254×127 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

The long, low format fits the band of wall above a credenza in a boardroom, behind a hotel reception counter or along a headboard wall, and its diagonal leads the eye down the length of the room. With nothing figurative in it, it sits beside a presentation screen without competing. Linen, boucle, travertine and bronze suit it. Because the bands run corner to corner, line its middle up with the credenza or bed beneath, or the diagonal seems to slide off one end.

Specified for lobby & reception, guest room & suite, meeting & boardroom and living room; it reads as cozy & warm and calming.

Pairs well with

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for TA#1034 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 36×18 in to 100×50 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Because the surface is not rolled, the choice is between stretched, ready to hang, and stretched in a frame; a frame costs more.
Surface
Sculpted relief is built up in layers with drying time between them, so it costs more than a flat painting of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on TA#1034 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Is TA#1034 meant to be sand dunes or water?

It is left open. The combed grooves and wind-carved crests suggest desert dunes or layered sandstone, while the sweeping bands can also read as a slow wave. The brown-to-sand palette tips it towards dunes, which suits desert resorts and earth-toned schemes in particular.

What lighting shows the combed grooves of TA#1034 best?

Low, raking light. When late sun or a wall-washer grazes the canvas, every crest casts a dark line and the bands look cut into stone. Under flat overhead light the same surface relaxes into a quiet brown-to-cream gradient, which can suit a boardroom by day and a lounge by night.

Is TA#1034 a print or an original painting?

An original. TA#1034 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of TA#1034 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
