About this painting

A rust-brown ribbon cuts a diagonal from the upper right corner down to the lower left, folding back on itself in S-curves, with a smooth cream field above it and a fan of fine white combed ridges filling the corner below.

The ribbon is built in two tones, a terracotta lip raised along its edges and a darker chocolate channel set back beneath, so the step between them reads as depth. The terracotta carries a faint sanded grain. The upper left, roughly a third of the canvas, stays plain cream, a quiet counterweight to the busy ridges below.

TA#715 is an original textured geometric painting showing sculpted layered wavy bands in brown and cream with ridged lines, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a sculpted relief surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

In a restaurant, place it where seated diners face it at eye level rather than high above a banquette, so the combed corner is seen up close. The diagonal runs down to the lower left, which on an entry wall leads the gaze toward a bench or console set on that side. Terracotta tile, cognac leather, walnut and brass all share its range, and warm evening light deepens the rust.

Specified for restaurant & bar, corridor & circulation, dining room and entryway & hallway; it reads as cozy & warm and calming.

Pairs well with

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for TA#715 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Because the surface is not rolled, the choice is between stretched, ready to hang, and stretched in a frame; a frame costs more.
Surface
Sculpted relief is built up in layers with drying time between them, so it costs more than a flat painting of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on TA#715 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Is TA#715 related to the blue-and-brown TA#714?

Yes, the two share one relief language: stacked ribbons with shadowed edges and fields of combed ridges, each with a brown core. TA#714 is cool steel blue, TA#715 warm rust and chocolate, so as a pair on facing walls or side by side they balance a warm and a cool side of one room.

What are the fine white lines in the lower right of TA#715?

Ridges combed through thick white plaster in sweeping arcs, set in a fan that bends with the curve of the brown ribbon above. Each line stands slightly proud, so in raking light that corner looks like raked sand or ruffled cloth while the cream field above stays still.

Is TA#715 a print or an original painting?

An original. TA#715 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of TA#715 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
