About this painting

One magnolia bloom is enlarged until the petals spill past all four sides of the canvas, with a cone of golden stamens tucked just left of centre where they part. Most petals are apricot and honey yellow, deepening to burnt orange in their folds, and two cocoa-brown petals reach in at the left side and lower right to give the warm mass a darker frame.

The paint is smooth and flat, blended softly with no ridges, so the petals read as broad planes of colour rather than botanical detail. A cream ground, crossed by a pale peach band, keeps such a large flower from feeling heavy.

CA#649 is an original colorful floral painting showing close-up of a large orange and brown lily-like flower with stamens, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Because the bloom is cropped so tightly, it holds up at the largest sizes: behind the headboard in a hotel suite, or as the only picture on a restaurant end wall facing the entrance. It looks warmest against greige or pale grey plaster, where the orange seems brighter, and with cognac leather, smoked glass and brushed brass. A downlight close to the wall picks out the gold stamens.

Specified for guest room & suite, restaurant & bar, bedroom and living room; it reads as cozy & warm and peaceful.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for CA#649 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Flat brushwork takes less paint and time than impasto or relief work of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on CA#649 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

What gives away the magnolia in CA#649 when no stem or leaf is shown?

The petals and the centre. They are broad and rounded rather than narrow and curled back like a lily, and the stamens gather into a raised golden cone, which is typical of a magnolia. The view is so close that petal shape is the main clue.

Why are two of the petals in CA#649 dark brown?

They act as shadow. The cocoa-brown petals at the left edge and lower right sit behind the apricot ones, pushing the bloom forward and stopping the orange from going flat. They also give a warm neutral room a darker note to repeat in a cushion or a walnut side table.

Is CA#649 a print or an original painting?

An original. CA#649 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of CA#649 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
