About this painting

A small grey-and-white bird darts in from the open left side toward a cluster of white lotus blooms, the only movement in an otherwise still pond. The handling follows the fine-line gongbi tradition of flower-and-bird painting: every petal and leaf vein is drawn with a thin dark line, then filled with graded colour that runs from deep teal at the leaf centres to yellow-green at the rims.

One bloom opens fully at the centre around a yellow-lit seed head, a second hides behind it, and a pink-tipped bud rises at the left. Reeds cross the top; the upper left stays bare cream.

HA#023 is an original hyperrealist floral painting showing white lotus blooms and lily pads with a small bird in flight, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas. It is painted to order in any size; the 10 standard sizes run from 24×24 in (61×61 cm) to 72×72 in (183×183 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

The detail lives in hair-fine lines, so hang it where people walk close by: a tea room, the wall beside a spa treatment bed, or a guest-suite corridor seen at arm's length. Sage, celadon and teal textiles pick up the leaf colour, and dark walnut, black lacquer or bamboo give the cream ground a crisp edge. Let the bare upper-left corner breathe by keeping shelves and wall lights well away from that side.

Specified for spa & wellness, guest room & suite, bedroom and bathroom; it reads as peaceful and calming.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for HA#023 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 24×24 in to 72×72 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Flat brushwork takes less paint and time than impasto or relief work of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on HA#023 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

What does the lotus stand for in HA#023?

It is most often read as purity, since the flower rises clean out of pond mud, and Buddhist imagery links it with calm and awakening. Here the open white blooms carry that meaning most directly, while the bird flying in adds a lighter note of life arriving at a quiet pond.

How are the lotus leaves in HA#023 built up?

Each leaf starts as a drawn outline with veins radiating from the stem point in fine dark lines; colour is then graded inside those lines from saturated teal to pale yellow-green. The result is decorative rather than photographic, so the leaves read as clear shapes from afar and as careful linework up close.

Is HA#023 a print or an original painting?

An original. HA#023 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of HA#023 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
