About this painting

A jade-green leaf hangs point down from the top edge, its pale veins branching like river channels until they meet a white, sculpted fan below.

The lower half is built up in relief: ivory ridges radiate from a gold-flecked centre like the underside of a lily pad, each fine line raised enough to cast its own shadow. The green above is smooth and marbled, light sage blending into deep bottle green, so the two halves differ in finish as well as colour. Gold sits only where they meet, in torn, crusted patches along the edge, as if the leaf had split open.

AA#816 is an original abstract floral painting showing green leaf-vein pattern with gold cracks over a cream veined lower half, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Green and ivory sit easily with pale oak, travertine, limestone and brushed brass, the materials of a spa treatment corridor or a quiet guest suite. The lower relief needs grazing light to show, so aim a ceiling spot down the wall from close to it and the ivory ridges will throw fine shadows. In an entrance hall, hang it where people walk straight towards it, since the pointed green shape leads the gaze down into the white fan.

Specified for spa & wellness, guest room & suite, living room and entryway & hallway; it reads as calming and peaceful.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for AA#816 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Because the surface is not rolled, the choice is between stretched, ready to hang, and stretched in a frame; a frame costs more.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on AA#816 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Is the white fan in AA#816 a flower or a leaf?

It reads as both. The fine lines radiate from one gold-centred point the way veins spread across a lotus or lily pad, yet the outline is loose enough to suggest open petals. With the clearly leaf-like green shape above, the canvas sits halfway between botanical study and abstract.

Where does the gold sit on AA#816, and how strong is it?

Only along the torn edge where green meets ivory, in crusted patches and a few loose flecks, plus a small gold heart at the centre of the white fan. Kept to that one seam, it reads as a thin accent, never a dominant colour, so brass fittings nearby echo it without competing.

Is AA#816 a print or an original painting?

An original. AA#816 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of AA#816 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
