About this painting

A mottled coral sun hangs in a vermilion sky above cream snow peaks, and below them a sage-green ridge dotted with dark pines slopes down to a rosy lake.

The landscape is built in flat, stacked bands of colour in the manner of a woodcut: red sky, cream peaks, green ridge, crimson trees, pink water. Detail is kept to small dark dabs on the slopes and a few bare twigs among the red trees. Crimson scrub crowds both banks and narrows towards a gap of pale water at the centre, and the sun and lake carry a fine speckled finish that softens the strong colour.

MA#414 is an original minimalist landscape painting showing flat stylised green and white mountains under a red sky with a coral sun, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

So much red makes it an advancing picture: it feels closer and larger than its size, so give it a wall of its own rather than a crowded arrangement. It sits best on warm white, oatmeal or pale sage walls, and its green ridge links to potted plants and olive upholstery. In a restaurant, hang it behind the host stand or on the end wall of the dining room, where guests meet the red sky as they walk in.

Specified for lobby & reception, restaurant & bar, gallery & retail and living room; it reads as bold and dramatic.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for MA#414 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Flat brushwork takes less paint and time than impasto or relief work of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on MA#414 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Is the red sky in MA#414 meant to be a sunset?

Not literally. The sky is a flat, saturated vermilion and the sun is coral, which reads more like a stylised dawn or dusk than a real one. That choice turns a simple mountain view into a graphic block of colour, so the painting works as much as a red panel as a landscape.

Could the vermilion sky in MA#414 be painted in a softer colour?

Yes. The sky and sun can move to terracotta, peach or dusty rose while the cream peaks, sage ridge and pink lake stay as they are. A softer sky turns the mood from bold to quiet, and the progress photos let the new colour be approved before the rest is painted.

Is MA#414 a print or an original painting?

An original. MA#414 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of MA#414 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
