About this painting

A yellow sun bursts from behind the shoulder of a dark navy peak, firing thin rays across a sky streaked with rust-orange cloud. Below the mountain a band of dark forest gives way to a wide snowfield, its hollows marked with dabs of cobalt shadow and a few dry grass stalks poking through.

Frosted pines guard the left edge, one heavy with snow in the corner and two paler ones behind, while a single thin tree stands alone in the open. The strokes are short and left unblended. All the warm colour sits in the top third; everything beneath it is blue and white.

IA#1161 is an original impressionist landscape painting showing winter mountain with a sunburst behind the peak, snow-laden pines and blue-shadowed snowfield, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 24×20 in (61×51 cm) to 80×60 in (203×153 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

In a boardroom, centre the canvas on the long wall the table faces, high enough that the sunburst clears seated heads, so the bright sky reads across the whole table. Over a guest bed dressed in white or pale gray, the snowfield seems to carry on into the bedding. Birch, pale ash and undyed wool echo the frosted pines. Under very warm bulbs the snowfield yellows toward cream; a neutral white keeps it crisp.

Specified for meeting & boardroom, guest room & suite, living room and home office; it reads as peaceful and uplifting.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for IA#1161 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 24×20 in to 80×60 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Flat brushwork takes less paint and time than impasto or relief work of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Questions buyers ask

How is the sunburst in IA#1161 made to look so bright?

By contrast more than by colour. The sun is a pale yellow core with thin straight rays drawn outward over the rust cloud, and the dark navy ridge cuts right up against it. That hard dark edge beside the lightest spot on the canvas makes the light seem to spill over the mountain.

Will the snow in IA#1161 look out of place outside winter?

Less than a festive scene would. There are no cabins, figures or holiday details, only a mountain, pines and a low sun, so it reads as landscape rather than seasonal decoration. In an alpine lodge, a ski hotel or a northern city it simply looks like local scenery all year.

Is IA#1161 a print or an original painting?

An original. IA#1161 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of IA#1161 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
