About this painting

A white waterfall drops out of high mist between two cliffs into a still turquoise lake, the falling water laid down as one bright vertical band.

The two walls of the gorge are deliberately unlike each other. On the left the rock is pale blue and white streaked with lemon yellow and pink; on the right it turns deep cobalt and indigo, slashed with snow. Above, a soft lilac sky holds a drift of snowy summit, and at the bottom right a dark rock juts into the lake. Knife strokes pile the paint thickest on both cliff faces, while the lake is left smoother.

IA#810 is an original impressionist landscape painting showing waterfall pouring between pastel knife-painted mountains into a blue lake, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

With one pastel side and one cobalt side, it can link a pale room to a darker one: try it on the end wall of a guest suite with white bedding and a navy headboard, or at the point where a light entrance hall opens into a deeper-toned lounge. Pale ash, white oak and frosted glass suit it; keep metal finishes cool. Side light raking across the left cliff picks out the yellow and pink ridges.

Specified for spa & wellness, corridor & circulation, guest room & suite and entryway & hallway; it reads as peaceful and uplifting.

Pairs well with

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for IA#810 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on IA#810 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Why are the two cliffs in IA#810 painted in such different colours?

One side is in light, the other in shade. The left face catches the sun, so its rock dissolves into pale blue, lemon and pink, while the right face stays in shadow and keeps its deep cobalt. The contrast frames the white fall between them.

How does the turquoise of IA#810 sit next to white marble or tile?

Comfortably. The lake and the left cliff share the cool, chalky whites of honed marble and matt tile, so the canvas looks at home among pale stone. Very bright white surfaces can wash the pastels out, so a slightly warmer wall colour behind it keeps the yellow and pink visible.

Is IA#810 a print or an original painting?

An original. IA#810 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of IA#810 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
