About this painting

A dome of white daisies, each with a raised yellow button centre, spreads wide above a straight-sided glass vase, with blue and lavender hydrangea massed to the upper left and raspberry pink blooms to the upper right. Every petal is a separate knife-applied stroke of thick paint, which lifts the bouquet off the pale grey ground.

The vase is painted thinly by comparison: clear glass with green stems and a hint of water, cut off by the bottom edge. Loose petals drift out to both sides and keep the outline of the bouquet soft.

TA#518 is an original textured floral painting showing thick knife-impasto bouquet of white daisies with blue hydrangea and pink blooms in a glass vase, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 10 standard sizes run from 24×24 in (61×61 cm) to 72×72 in (183×183 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

The square shape centres neatly over a sideboard or dining buffet, where its width can echo the furniture below it. Grey, white and pale timber rooms let the blue and pink carry; a busy patterned wallpaper would fight the petal texture. In a restaurant it suits a breakfast room or a cafe wall with good daylight, which shows the white petals at their crispest and keeps the grey ground from turning dull.

Specified for restaurant & bar, guest room & suite, dining room and living room; it reads as uplifting and romantic.

Pairs well with

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for TA#518 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 24×24 in to 72×72 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Because the surface is not rolled, the choice is between stretched, ready to hang, and stretched in a frame; a frame costs more.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on TA#518 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Why is the vase in TA#518 painted so much flatter than the flowers?

The contrast is deliberate. Thin, smooth paint makes the glass look transparent and lets the stems show through, while the knife-laid petals above stand up from the surface. The change in thickness also puts all the weight and texture in the upper two thirds of the square.

Can the pink and blue blooms in TA#518 be repainted in other colours?

Yes. The white daisies and pale grey ground stay as they are, and the blue-lavender hydrangea and raspberry pink can be repainted, for example in blush and sage, or in white with yellow centres for a quieter version. Send the swatches or fabric you are matching.

Is TA#518 a print or an original painting?

An original. TA#518 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of TA#518 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
