About this painting

One large pale blue bloom fills the upper half of a teal canvas, opening sideways around a crown of yellow, orange and red stamens dotted on in short dabs.

Its petals pale from blue to white at the edges, each outlined in a fine dark line that also traces the long navy stem curving to the bottom. A second flower turns away at the right edge, half cropped, and soft white petal shapes drift through the lower left. The teal ground is far from flat: raised, looping marks swirl through it, with a few rust-orange flecks near the base.

TA#797 is an original textured floral painting showing large blue peony bloom in heavy knife impasto on a teal ground, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 10 standard sizes run from 24×24 in (61×61 cm) to 72×72 in (183×183 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Teal and pale blue make an easy match for green velvet, sage cabinetry, grey-veined marble and brass wall lights. The square shape sits neatly over a sideboard or a dining-room buffet, with a gap of about 20 cm between the sideboard top and the canvas. In a boutique or salon, a pale wall near the counter works, where customers stand close enough to see the stamen dabs. In a bedroom, its cool palette steadies terracotta or blush textiles.

Specified for gallery & retail, restaurant & bar, living room and bedroom; it reads as peaceful and romantic.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for TA#797 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 24×24 in to 72×72 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Because the surface is not rolled, the choice is between stretched, ready to hang, and stretched in a frame; a frame costs more.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on TA#797 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Is the blue flower in TA#797 a natural peony colour?

No. Peonies grow in white, pink, red, coral and yellow, never a true blue. The blue is a painterly choice that keeps the bloom cool and modern, while the orange and red stamens give it the warm centre a real peony would have.

What is the second flower at the right edge of TA#797?

A second bloom of the same kind, seen from the side and cut off by the canvas edge, with its own dark stem crossing below the first. Cropping it this way makes the picture feel like a close view into a larger plant rather than a single specimen.

Is TA#797 a print or an original painting?

An original. TA#797 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of TA#797 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
