About this painting

A grey city rises out of mist and drops its lit windows onto the water as long orange streaks, splitting the square into skyline and reflection.

The towers are dragged straight down with a broad, dry brush in grey, white, charcoal and a few cobalt panes, their tops fading into a pale sky. Only the middle band is crisp: small blocks of orange, gold and red light, one gold-capped roof, and a dark waterline strung with broken gold like a lit quay. Below, those colours are pulled down into soft reflections, darker towards the right edge. The surface is flat; the movement comes from the brush.

IA#1076 is an original impressionist cityscape painting showing loose grey cityscape with glowing orange and gold windows reflected below, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas. It is painted to order in any size; the 10 standard sizes run from 24×24 in (61×61 cm) to 72×72 in (183×183 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Square canvases have no built-in direction, so this one settles well on a wall that is itself close to square: a chimney breast, the panel between two doors, or the end of a bar where a long horizontal would be cut off by shelving. Its grey half blends into concrete, charcoal plaster and smoked glass, and the orange band carries well once a restaurant dims for dinner service. Behind a desk it stays calm enough to sit in the background of a video call.

Specified for restaurant & bar, workspace & office, dining room and living room; it reads as dramatic and moody.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for IA#1076 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 24×24 in to 72×72 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Flat brushwork takes less paint and time than impasto or relief work of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on IA#1076 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Which city skyline does IA#1076 show?

None that can be named. The towers are loose blocks without landmark outlines, which lets the painting hang in a hotel or office anywhere without suggesting a place the guest is not in. If you want a recognisable skyline in this style, a commission from your own reference photo is possible.

Why does IA#1076 look more abstract up close?

At arm's length the lower half is just vertical drags of grey, white and orange with soft edges. Step back a few metres and those drags settle into reflections on still water, and the lit band sharpens into a skyline. Both readings hold, which suits rooms where people both pass through and sit.

Is IA#1076 a print or an original painting?

An original. IA#1076 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of IA#1076 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
