About this painting

One orange bloom, painted far larger than life, fills almost the whole square, its ruffled petals pushed up into thick, curling ridges with white caught along every edge. The centre is a starburst of white and cream spikes with a few dark seeds, and a single green stem slips out at the lower left.

Behind it the ground is smoky grey and silver, brushed in swirls, with a faint flush of pink and violet at the corners. The heaviest paint sits on the petals, where sharp-edged ridges throw small shadows; the grey stays thinner, so the flower seems to push forward off the wall.

CA#558 is an original colorful floral painting showing large orange knife-painted bloom on grey, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 10 standard sizes run from 24×24 in (61×61 cm) to 72×72 in (183×183 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Grey offices are where it earns its place: the background already matches concrete, graphite and charcoal acoustic felt, so the orange is the only new colour in the room. At the end of a boardroom table it faces everyone seated, and a square suits a wall that is wider than it is tall. Track spots angled down from the ceiling bring out the ridged petals; flat, even office lighting softens them.

Specified for meeting & boardroom, workspace & office, home office and living room; it reads as bold and dramatic.

Pairs well with

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for CA#558 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 24×24 in to 72×72 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on CA#558 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

What kind of flower is CA#558?

Not a specific species. The ruffled petals suggest a peony or a poppy, but the painting treats the bloom as a shape: one orange form with a spiky white centre, far larger than life, set against grey.

How does the grey background of CA#558 sit on a grey wall?

Well, provided the wall is a different tone. The canvas grey moves from charcoal on the left to near-white on the right, so on a mid-grey wall its edges dissolve slightly and the orange appears to float; against white paint, that grey becomes a soft border around the flower.

Is CA#558 a print or an original painting?

An original. CA#558 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of CA#558 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
