Orange flower bursting on deep blue textured acrylic painting

An orange and cream flower bursts open just left of centre, petals flung outward as if caught in an explosion, against a ground that runs from electric blue to near-black navy.

Sprays of crimson, pink and pale blue fly off to the right, a streak of ice blue shoots up from the top, and long drips of orange, white and wine-red run from the flower toward the bottom edge. The petals are thick ridges of paint with cream highlights around a red-orange seed centre, and the dark ground behind them is painted in radiating streaks that make the whole burst seem to move outward.
