About this painting

A woman in profile, eyes closed, faces right into a field of burning orange while her hair streams away to the left as a broad white ribbon. Her skin is deep slate-navy, shaded only under the jaw, with a thin gold hoop at the ear. The hair breaks into curls wherever it turns: turquoise and orange spirals on the left, cobalt and violet at the crown.

That white ribbon is the most textured passage, combed into fine parallel ridges, while the orange, gold and raspberry field is dragged in vertical strokes like rising heat. Fine gold and white lines trace the contours and hold the two halves together.

CA#876 is an original colorful figurative painting showing stylised dark-skinned woman in profile with swirling white and blue hair on orange, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Half hot and half cool, it suits a space whose own materials shift temperature: a lobby where glazing gives way to warm timber, or a living room between a white wall and a rust or terracotta sofa. In a shop or gallery it works behind the counter, where a face looking across the room holds attention. Black metal, brass and smoked glass pick up the navy skin and the gold earring.

Specified for gallery & retail, lobby & reception, living room and home office; it reads as dramatic and bold.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for CA#876 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on CA#876 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Does it matter which wall the woman in CA#876 faces?

It helps. She looks to the right, with her hair flowing left. On an end wall that is no issue; on a side wall, place her near the left-hand corner so her gaze travels along the length of the space instead of towards a door or window.

What do the closed eyes in CA#876 suggest?

The pose is usually read as calm and inward, someone listening or dreaming rather than posing. The closed eyes and lifted chin keep the face still, so the movement and heat in the hair and background carry the drama instead.

Is CA#876 a print or an original painting?

An original. CA#876 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of CA#876 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
