About this painting

A dull red and mauve-grey bloom, sketched in quick broken strokes, sits low on the left of a chalky cream canvas, with a spray of olive-green foliage drifting up to its right.

Above them stands a tall white shape with a notched top edge, outlined on one side by a single fine grey line. Beneath the bloom a run of black-and-cream dashes reads like the shadow of stems, and small yellow flicks catch the light beside it. The paint is thin and scraped, leaving a warm sand patch at left and a cooler grey-white field at lower right, with faint sage clouding at top left.

WA#027 is an original wabi-sabi floral painting showing faint sketched wildflowers and foliage on a chalky cream field, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

With so little contrast it wants a backdrop slightly deeper than its own cream: mushroom, greige or soft clay plaster give it an edge, while bright white makes it look faded. Hang it where people stand or sit close, beside a bed or opposite a freestanding bath, since the bloom and foliage lose their detail beyond four or five metres. Bleached wood, dried stems, matt ceramics and pale linen keep the mood light.

Specified for spa & wellness, guest room & suite, bedroom and bathroom; it reads as peaceful and romantic.

Pairs well with

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for WA#027 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Flat brushwork takes less paint and time than impasto or relief work of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on WA#027 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

What is the white shape at the top of WA#027?

A tall, pale form with a notched top edge, outlined on one side by a single grey line. It is never fully drawn, so some see a vase holding the flowers and others a sheet of paper pinned behind them; either way it gives the loose blooms a quiet backdrop.

Is the red in WA#027 strong enough to pick up in fabrics?

Only gently. The red is a dull, brick-tinged rose mixed with mauve-grey, so it suits cushions or a throw in faded rose or rust rather than a clear red. Olive or sage textiles echo the foliage on the right and sit better than bright accents beside such a pale canvas.

Is WA#027 a print or an original painting?

An original. WA#027 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of WA#027 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
