About this painting

Cobalt and royal blue blossoms crowd the left half of the picture and thin out toward a white glow in the upper right, as if the flowers were leaning into the light. Each small four-petal bloom is a single pressed stroke of thick paint, its raised edge catching a paler blue where the knife lifted away.

Lower down the blossoms sink into navy, and dark vertical strokes run to the bottom edge like shadowed stems. The bright corner is left loose and scraped, so it reads as air rather than background, and the diagonal from deep blue to almost white gives the whole canvas its movement.

TA#920 is an original textured floral painting showing mass of blue knife-painted blossoms fading into a white glow, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

The blue masses on the left and the light opens at upper right, so the canvas sits most naturally where daylight also arrives from the right and the painted glow agrees with the window. At the far end of a long white corridor, the navy lower third anchors the view along its whole length. In a guest suite it pairs with grey bouclé, brushed brass and pale oak. Keep it off navy or charcoal paint, where its darkest edge would vanish into the wall.

Specified for corridor & circulation, guest room & suite, entryway & hallway and bedroom; it reads as calming and bold.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for TA#920 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Because the surface is not rolled, the choice is between stretched, ready to hang, and stretched in a frame; a frame costs more.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on TA#920 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Are the blue blooms in TA#920 hydrangeas?

Not exactly. The small four-petal shapes recall hydrangea florets, but they are painted as generic blossoms rather than a botanical study. Up close each one is a separate pressed stroke; a few steps back they merge into a single mass of blue, which is how the canvas is meant to be seen.

Why is the upper right of TA#920 left almost white?

That pale corner acts as the light source. Blossoms near it turn sky blue and lose detail, while those furthest away sink into navy, which creates depth without a horizon, vase or table. It also stops a large blue canvas from feeling heavy on a light wall.

Is TA#920 a print or an original painting?

An original. TA#920 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of TA#920 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
