About this painting

Massed white roses cover most of the canvas and stop at a ragged, flame-like edge, beyond which a deep navy field is scored with fine curving leaf lines. More than twenty roses are carved as plaster spirals, packed so tightly that they merge into one sculpted surface.

Where the white meets the blue it throws off small curled tongues that reach into the dark like spray off a wave. The navy side is nearly flat by comparison, its texture coming only from thin incised lines, so the whole picture runs on two colours and two depths: raised white against recessed blue.

TA#477 is an original textured floral painting showing sculpted white plaster roses over a navy leaf-line background, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a sculpted relief surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Navy and white is a tailored pairing, so the painting belongs with clean lines and cool materials: grey marble, black metal shelving, charcoal upholstery, a navy cushion or rug echoing the right-hand field. In a boutique or reception it gives a pale grey wall one strong graphic block that reads from the door. A lamp or spotlight set off to the left rakes across the rose spirals and deepens their shadows.

Specified for lobby & reception, gallery & retail, living room and home office; it reads as dramatic and bold.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for TA#477 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Because the surface is not rolled, the choice is between stretched, ready to hang, and stretched in a frame; a frame costs more.
Surface
Sculpted relief is built up in layers with drying time between them, so it costs more than a flat painting of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on TA#477 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

What is the jagged white edge in TA#477 meant to be?

Nothing literal. It reads equally as torn paper or the crest of a breaking wave, and a few loose white flicks cross into the navy. That uneven boundary is what keeps a strict two-colour composition from looking static.

Does the navy in TA#477 go black under evening light?

Close to it: under low, warm lamps it darkens almost to black, which makes the white roses look sharper still; in daylight the blue and its fine leaf lines return. If the room is mostly used at night, a neutral or cool-white downlight keeps the navy reading as blue.

Is TA#477 a print or an original painting?

An original. TA#477 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of TA#477 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
