About this painting

One oversized flower opens across the upper half of a tall canvas, its broad petals in powder blue and slate, several split down the middle by a sweep of gold. At its heart, strokes of deep indigo and near-black gather around a few gold stamens, and the petals fan outward with thick, smooth edges that stand off the surface.

The ground stays quiet: cream and dove grey, a darker grey column down the right side, and paint drips running toward the base. Specks and blots of gold drift through the lower half, so the eye travels down the long canvas instead of stopping at the bloom.

TA#849 is an original textured floral painting showing single large pale-blue flower with thick knife petals and gold-leaf accents on a cream ground, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 11 standard sizes run from 18×36 in (46×91 cm) to 50×100 in (127×254 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

The 1:2 proportion fills narrow vertical spaces: a pier between two doors, the wall beside a lift landing, the end of a vanity run, a recess next to a bed. Powder blue and gold match cream-and-brass schemes, and they hold up equally well against greige panelling or navy velvet. A ceiling spot angled down onto the canvas makes the gold catch and gives each petal edge a thin line of shadow.

Specified for guest room & suite, spa & wellness, bedroom and entryway & hallway; it reads as romantic and calming.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for TA#849 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 18×36 in to 50×100 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Because the surface is not rolled, the choice is between stretched, ready to hang, and stretched in a frame; a frame costs more.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on TA#849 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Is the bloom in TA#849 a particular species?

It is not a botanical study of one species. The wide pointed petals and dark centre suggest a lily or clematis, but the bloom is stylised and enlarged so its shape works as a design on the wall. Read it as a single flower at full opening rather than a particular plant.

What is the darker grey band on the right of TA#849?

A vertical column of slate grey running down the right edge behind the flower, with drips of paint trailing from it. It balances the gold splashes on the left and gives the pale ground some depth, so the petals appear to float ahead of a shadow.

Is TA#849 a print or an original painting?

An original. TA#849 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of TA#849 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
