About this painting

Two blue tulips lean together on a pale grey ground: a closed, ice-blue bud at the upper left and a full bloom below it, tipped open to show a dab of gold ochre at its heart.

The open flower carries the weight. Its petals are laid in long, thick strokes of navy, slate and teal streaked with white, each with the sharp dragged edge of a knife, and the deepest blue sits at the tips. White paint is flicked across the upper right and over the bloom, and two grey-green stems curve down to the lower edge through soft, pale vertical veils.

TA#584 is an original textured floral painting showing two blue-grey knife-painted tulips with white splatter, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

A charcoal or slate-grey niche suits it well: the dark wall frames the pale ground, and one downlight above makes the white flecks stand out against the navy. Because the heavier bloom sits in the lower half, the canvas tolerates a slightly raised hanging height over an entry bench or a spa console without looking top-heavy. Blue-grey velvet, pewter, white marble and a single mustard cushion all repeat its colours.

Specified for guest room & suite, bedroom, spa & wellness and entryway & hallway; it reads as romantic and calming.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for TA#584 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Because the surface is not rolled, the choice is between stretched, ready to hang, and stretched in a frame; a frame costs more.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on TA#584 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

What are the white dots scattered across TA#584?

They are flicks of white paint thrown over the surface after the flowers were laid in. They gather over the open bloom and in the upper right, reading as snow, rain or pollen in the air, and they lighten the navy so the darkest petals never turn heavy.

Could TA#584 hang beside a warmer floral?

Yes, if the second canvas shares its pale grey ground. A gold or ochre floral picks up the small gold centre and makes the pair look deliberate. Avoid a second blue painting in a different blue, which tends to look like a near miss rather than a match.

Is TA#584 a print or an original painting?

An original. TA#584 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of TA#584 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
