About this painting

One white peony fills the square canvas so completely that its outer petals run off all four edges, leaving only slivers of smoky grey-brown in the corners.

The heart sits a little left of the middle: a pale domed centre ringed by dark stamens tipped with gold. Petals are painted in long blended strokes that move from white into blue-grey shadow, and their ruffled edges are picked out with small flecks of gold. The darkest tones gather at the lower left and in the top corners, so the flower seems to press forward toward the viewer.

HA#1073 is an original hyperrealist floral painting showing large white bloom with a gold-flecked centre and gold leaf touches on grey, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas. It is painted to order in any size; the 10 standard sizes run from 24×24 in (61×61 cm) to 72×72 in (183×183 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Cropped this tightly, the bloom behaves more like an abstract than a still life, so it holds a boardroom or private dining wall without competing with conversation. White or dove-grey panelled walls suit it: centre it inside a single moulded panel and the square fills the wainscot frame neatly. In a guest room, a mid-sized canvas above the headboard keeps the dark corners from feeling heavy over the bed.

Specified for restaurant & bar, dining room, meeting & boardroom and guest room & suite; it reads as peaceful and cozy & warm.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for HA#1073 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 24×24 in to 72×72 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Flat brushwork takes less paint and time than impasto or relief work of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on HA#1073 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

What do the gold flecks in HA#1073 do in the picture?

They trace the petal edges and the tips of the stamens, so the structure of the flower shows even from a distance. Under warm light they glow against the cool grey and link the canvas to brass fittings nearby; in daylight they read as a soft ochre accent.

Why is the peony in HA#1073 placed off-centre?

Setting the heart slightly left of the middle stops the square from feeling static. The largest petals then sweep out to the right and downward, giving the bloom a slow turning movement, while the darker lower-left corner balances the bright petals opposite.

Is HA#1073 a print or an original painting?

An original. HA#1073 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of HA#1073 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
