About this painting

Five large flowers in raised plaster sit on a flat terracotta ground: two round pink poppies with beaded centres and three yellow blooms, one of them a long-petalled daisy with a dark purple eye.

Navy stems and leaves are painted flat behind them as crisp silhouettes, and that contrast between smooth graphic shapes and modelled petals gives the picture its mid-century feel. Two small white flowers fill the gaps at upper left and lower right. The petals are scored with fine lines that follow their curve, and the stippled pink centres are built from tiny raised dots.

TA#322 is an original textured floral painting showing sculpted pink and yellow plaster poppies on a terracotta ground with navy leaves, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a sculpted relief surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Hang it against cream, bone or warm white plaster; on a terracotta or rust wall the ground disappears and the flowers float without an edge. The navy leaves justify an ink-blue banquette, cobalt tiles or dark-stained rattan nearby, and the yellow picks up brass or ochre ceramics on a sideboard. In a café or bistro the bold silhouettes read clearly from the entrance, even at the middle sizes.

Specified for restaurant & bar, lobby & reception, dining room and living room; it reads as bold and cozy & warm.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for TA#322 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Because the surface is not rolled, the choice is between stretched, ready to hang, and stretched in a frame; a frame costs more.
Surface
Sculpted relief is built up in layers with drying time between them, so it costs more than a flat painting of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on TA#322 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Are the flowers in TA#322 particular species or stylised shapes?

Stylised. The round pink blooms read as poppies and the long-petalled yellow one with the dark eye resembles a rudbeckia, but each is simplified into a flat, graphic outline in the spirit of mid-century textile design rather than painted botanically.

What happens to the raised petals of TA#322 in side light?

Each flower casts a thin shadow onto the terracotta, so the blooms seem to sit slightly in front of the canvas, and the scored lines in the petals sharpen. The navy leaves stay flat, which makes the relief of the flowers more obvious by comparison.

Is TA#322 a print or an original painting?

An original. TA#322 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of TA#322 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
