About this painting

Three horses stand close together on a terracotta red field, their legs drawn long and thin as stilts.

On the left a black horse faces straight out, a white blaze running down its face; beside it a cream horse turns in profile, head lifted; at the right edge only the arching curve of a third black horse comes into view. A pale moon is half cut off by the left edge, and a small gold square sits in the opposite top corner. The paint is chalky and matte, with feathered outlines and faint flecks in the cream, like the worn finish of painted folk furniture.

MA#046 is an original minimalist animal painting showing two flat black horses and one white horse on a terracotta field with a pale moon, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

With so much red in it, the canvas registers as one block of colour from across a room, which suits the end wall of a corridor or the wall that faces a restaurant entrance. Hang it on pale grey or warm white; set against a terracotta or brick-red wall it would sink. Its tall, narrow proportions also fit the slim stretch of wall beside a dining room door or between two windows.

Specified for restaurant & bar, lobby & reception, dining room and living room; it reads as cozy & warm and bold.

Pairs well with

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for MA#046 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Flat brushwork takes less paint and time than impasto or relief work of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on MA#046 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

What do the moon and the gold square add to MA#046?

They anchor the two top corners. The pale moon at left hints at evening, and the small gold square at right reads like a seal or stamp, a single bright accent against the red. Both are kept small, so the three horses remain the subject.

How does the terracotta of MA#046 look under warm and cool light?

Warm light around 2700K deepens it toward brick and makes the cream horse glow; cooler 4000K light shifts the red toward a dusty pink and sharpens the black silhouettes. Dimmed, warm restaurant and lounge lighting shows it at its richest.

Is MA#046 a print or an original painting?

An original. MA#046 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of MA#046 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
