About this painting

Dozens of fine blue-grey lines nest inside one another in deep U-shaped curves, tightest and darkest at the top centre and loosening as they spread down and outward. Lower down they thin, overlap and cross like layers of sheer fabric, then fade almost completely into a pale grey-white base.

Each arc is its own hand-drawn stroke with slight wobbles, set over translucent washes so the layers seem to sit behind one another. The bottom third is nearly empty, which lets the dense crown of curves breathe and makes the picture lighten as it descends.

MA#025 is an original minimalist geometric painting showing blue-grey concentric wave lines fading into white, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Muted blue-grey and a fading base suit quiet rooms: a spa treatment room, the headboard wall of a hotel suite, a bedroom or a bathroom wall away from the shower. Pale stone, white oak, brushed nickel and white bedding all sit well with it. The pale lower third melts into a bed or vanity top below, so the dark knot of lines at the top carries the image at eye level.

Specified for spa & wellness, guest room & suite, bathroom and bedroom; it reads as calming and peaceful.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for MA#025 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Flat brushwork takes less paint and time than impasto or relief work of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on MA#025 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

What is the pattern meant to show?

Nothing specific. The nested curves recall contour lines, tree rings, ripples in water or draped silk, and the painting leaves that open. The ambiguity helps in a spa or suite, where a literal scene can feel too busy.

How does the blue-grey sit with warm wood and beige?

Comfortably, because it is a greyed, muted blue rather than a bright one. Against oak, walnut or sand-coloured walls it reads as a cool counterpoint; with grey stone and white it becomes almost monochrome. Strong navy nearby makes the fine lines look faded by comparison.

Is MA#025 a print or an original painting?

An original. MA#025 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of MA#025 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
