About this painting

A single broad block of cornflower blue is brushed across the middle of a white canvas, with one small black dot hovering in the empty space above it. The top edge of the blue is soft and feathered and the right side ragged, while the bottom breaks into dry streaks where the brush ran thin.

The dot is the only black anywhere and sits slightly left of centre, far enough from the blue to set up a quiet tension across the gap. Roughly a third of the height is left as bare, warm white.

MA#062 is an original minimalist geometric painting showing single cornflower-blue brushed block on white with one small black dot, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Hang it where a simple shape has to read instantly: the wall behind a desk that appears on video calls, the wall facing the bed in a guest room, or above a chest of drawers in a bedroom. Pale oak, white lacquer, chalky plaster and brushed steel all sit easily beside it. Keep the lighting neutral rather than amber, since very warm lamps grey the blue and yellow the white.

Specified for workspace & office, guest room & suite, home office and bedroom; it reads as calming and peaceful.

Pairs well with

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for MA#062 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Flat brushwork takes less paint and time than impasto or relief work of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on MA#062 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

What does the small black dot add to MA#062?

Scale and a second point of interest. Without it the blue would read as a single swatch; with it, the white between dot and block becomes a measured interval, and your gaze moves up and down the canvas instead of resting in one place.

Are the streaks along the bottom of the blue intentional?

Yes. The brush is dragged down until the paint breaks up, leaving dry vertical streaks and a scatter of darker blue flecks on the white. That broken edge shows the block was painted by hand, and it gives the lower half some movement against the stillness above.

Is MA#062 a print or an original painting?

An original. MA#062 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of MA#062 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
