About this painting

Rows of purple lavender sweep upward from the lower edge in long curves, like lines on a contour map, before breaking against a bright green bank with a single round tree. Beyond the tree the land drops into a valley of patchwork fields, more lavender, lime grass and a pale winding track, rising to blue-violet hills under a thin strip of sky.

The lower half is the boldest part: deep violet rows separated by ochre and cream soil, each row built from short strokes set along its curve. The valley above uses smaller marks, which makes the distance recede.

IA#400 is an original impressionist landscape painting showing curving rows of a purple lavender field with a valley beyond, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

The curving rows carry movement, so it works on a wall people pass, such as the corridor between guest rooms, where the arcs seem to turn as you walk by. Strong violet wants quiet around it: soft gray, white plaster, pale ash. In a bedroom keep the bedding neutral and let one sage or lilac accent answer the canvas. Neutral daylight keeps the purple true; very warm bulbs push it toward brownish mauve.

Specified for spa & wellness, corridor & circulation, guest room & suite and bedroom; it reads as calming and uplifting.

Pairs well with

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for IA#400 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on IA#400 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Is IA#400 a particular lavender farm?

Not a specific one, though it follows the look of the Provence lavender plateaus: curved rows, a lone tree and a patchwork valley. No village or landmark ties it to a single farm, so it reads as a general summer landscape.

Why do the lavender rows in IA#400 curve instead of running straight?

Lavender is often planted along the contour of sloping ground, and the curve also does compositional work. The arcs lead from the lower edge up to the tree, then hand over to the winding track in the valley, so the gaze travels the full height of the canvas.

Is IA#400 a print or an original painting?

An original. IA#400 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of IA#400 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
