About this painting

A sunlit stone lane steps down between two whitewashed houses toward a bright blue bay, with purple bougainvillea pouring over the walls on both sides. A dark cypress rises against the sky on the left, a terracotta pot of red geraniums sits on the steps, and an orange-tiled roof on the right catches the sun.

Lavender and violet shadows fall across the paving, so even the stone is painted in the flower colour. The bay narrows to a V between the buildings, pulling the view through to a far headland under white cloud. Warm notes are rationed to the pot, the geraniums and that single roof.

IA#935 is an original impressionist landscape painting showing Mediterranean coastal lane with purple bougainvillea and a sea view, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

The lane works like a doorway in paint, so the canvas belongs where people pass through: beside a restaurant entrance, where a hotel corridor turns a corner, or at the head of a staircase. Its lilac and cobalt suit whitewashed or pale sand plaster, blue-and-white tiles, rope and rattan, and a terracotta pot or floor nearby picks up the one warm note. Keep the wall pale; dark paint cuts off the painted sunlight.

Specified for corridor & circulation, restaurant & bar, entryway & hallway and guest room & suite; it reads as romantic and uplifting.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for IA#935 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on IA#935 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Does IA#935 show a real village?

No particular town is named. The whitewashed houses, cypress, bougainvillea and steep lane down to the sea are typical of Mediterranean coastal villages, and the scene reads as that kind of place in general rather than a portrait of one identifiable street.

How warm does IA#935 read in a room?

Cooler than most sunny coastal scenes. Purple, lilac, cobalt and white make up nearly all of it, and the terracotta pot, red geraniums and tiled roof are the only warm notes. On a wall it reads as fresh rather than hot, so it balances warm timber and brass well.

Is IA#935 a print or an original painting?

An original. IA#935 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of IA#935 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
