About this painting

Clusters of small blue and violet blossoms pour from dark branches along the upper edge and spill down the left side, like a flowering vine hanging over a wall. The florets are dabbed in cobalt, ultramarine, periwinkle and lilac, with flecks of white and a few olive leaves, and they are densest in the upper right.

Below, the beige ground is left open, and thin runs of grey, blue and violet paint streak down to the bottom edge beside hair-fine dark tendrils. A bare cream corner at the upper left balances the mass of colour and lets the branches show.

IA#471 is an original impressionist floral painting showing cascading blue hydrangea-like blossoms with paint drips on a beige ground, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Blue on cream is restful, so the canvas sits naturally on a bedroom wall facing the window or in a guest suite dressed in white linen. The drips pull the gaze downward: raise it above the usual centre line, over a headboard or a slim console, and let the runs finish over open wall. French grey, washed linen, pale ash and chrome suit it, and one indigo cushion or throw repeats the deepest blue.

Specified for guest room & suite, bedroom, corridor & circulation and spa & wellness; it reads as calming and romantic.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for IA#471 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Flat brushwork takes less paint and time than impasto or relief work of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on IA#471 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Are the paint runs in IA#471 meant to be there?

Yes. The drips are part of the composition: thinned colour travels down the lower third so the blossoms seem to dissolve into the ground. They give the piece a loose, rain-washed quality and stop the floral mass from ending in a hard line.

Does IA#471 lean more blue or more purple?

More blue. Cobalt and ultramarine lead in the upper clusters, with violet and lilac mostly at the edges and in the drips. In warm evening light the violet becomes more noticeable; in cool daylight the painting reads as clear blue on cream.

Is IA#471 a print or an original painting?

An original. IA#471 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of IA#471 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
