About this painting

Red-crowned cranes wheel and wade across a night-dark ground rippled like water, between banks of bronze and gold cloud.

Two birds cross the upper band of cloud, one with wings flung wide to land. Lower down, a third lifts its wings among reeds on the left and two more stand at the bottom edge, necks raised. Green bamboo sprigs rise through the middle; pale flowering grasses fill the lower left. The clouds carry the texture, stippled and built up so they catch light, while the cranes are painted in cream and soft gold rather than stark white, so nothing on the canvas is harshly bright.

HA#313 is an original hyperrealist animal painting showing white cranes among gold clouds and bamboo on a dark chinoiserie ground, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Dark fluted panelling, smoked oak, bronze fittings and grey upholstery all suit it; on a pale wall it becomes an inky window. It fits the wall behind a concierge desk, a private dining room in an Asian restaurant, or a tea room. Two cranes and the flowering grasses sit along the bottom edge, so hang it with the lower edge clear of sofa backs and consoles rather than letting furniture hide them.

Specified for restaurant & bar, corridor & circulation, lobby & reception and living room; it reads as moody and dramatic.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for HA#313 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on HA#313 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

What do the cranes and bamboo in HA#313 stand for?

Both are long-standing good-luck motifs in East Asian painting: the red-crowned crane is commonly linked with longevity and good fortune, and bamboo, which bends without breaking, with resilience. Set among drifting clouds they make a traditional auspicious scene, which is why the subject is often chosen for spaces that welcome guests.

Is the gold in HA#313 bright or muted?

Muted. The clouds shade from deep bronze at their edges to soft gold where the texture peaks, and the cranes are cream rather than white, so the canvas glows rather than glitters. Brushed brass, walnut and charcoal sit comfortably beside it; polished chrome or bright white trim would look harsh.

Is HA#313 a print or an original painting?

An original. HA#313 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of HA#313 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
