What should office wall art in Bahrain say about your company?
Something about who you are and where you work: the island's heritage, its future or your own brand, told through abstraction rather than illustration.
When Bank ABC renovated its headquarters in Manama's Diplomatic Area, it commissioned the artist Victor Ekpuk, who drew on the ancient Dilmun civilisation for a glyph-like abstract form 5.4 metres tall, set in front of the building. The bank's chief executive called it a piece that 'cleverly connects our heritage and future aspirations', and the airport terminal of 2021 presents itself in the same spirit, as a cultural platform for the Kingdom's character.
You do not need a sculpture to brief the same way: start with the story, then the palette. Three threads suit most Bahraini offices, and each paints well as abstraction, which reads as considered in a reception and leaves nothing for a visitor to misread. For your own story, send us your brand colours, your logo or a photograph of your building, and we suggest the size and finish it will paint best at: see paintings from your own image.
