About this painting

Faint lotus leaves drift across a pond of chartreuse and soft olive, half dissolved into the water and dotted with coral pink where flowers open. Seven or eight clusters are scattered in a loose slant from the top left corner toward the bottom right, each drawn with thin dark lines and a smudge of grey-violet shadow.

The rest is open water: thin layers of yellow-green blended into one another, with faint horizontal streaks that suggest reflection. Nothing is sharp or thick, the leaves seem to surface and sink again, and the empty stretches at the top right and along the bottom are as deliberate as the marks.

WA#547 is an original wabi-sabi floral painting showing faint lotus leaves on an olive green pond, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

With so little contrast, the canvas works best where people are close to it and still: opposite a treatment couch in a spa, beside a freestanding bath, or facing the bed in a guest suite. Its chartreuse field looks fresh against warm grey micro-cement, fluted panels and white oak, and it can stand in for a painted feature wall where a solid green would feel too heavy. Even light from a wall washer suits it better than a spot.

Specified for spa & wellness, bathroom, guest room & suite and living room; it reads as peaceful and uplifting.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for WA#547 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Flat brushwork takes less paint and time than impasto or relief work of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on WA#547 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Why are the lotus leaves on WA#547 so faint?

They are painted thinly and then blended back into the green, so they look partly under water or seen through haze. That restraint is typical of wabi-sabi work, which values the understated and the incomplete, and it keeps the painting quiet enough for rest spaces.

Could the chartreuse pond in WA#547 be painted in a cooler sage or celadon?

Yes. The composition depends on soft shifts of tone rather than one exact hue, so the pond can be repainted in sage, celadon or a muted olive while keeping the coral-pink blossoms and grey-violet shadows. Include a paint sample or an upholstery cutting when you ask, and the green can be matched to it.

Is WA#547 a print or an original painting?

An original. WA#547 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of WA#547 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
