About this painting

Tiny camels thread along a dune crest in a desert of saffron and burnt orange, so small that the sand seems to swallow them. The dunes are pulled up in thick knife ridges, each crest a lip of cream paint standing proud of the darker slope below.

A thin strip of grey-blue sky at the top is the only cool note. Beneath it the colour deepens from pale sand through amber to rust-brown shadow at the lower left. The main string of camels walks a ridge just below the centre, and a few single figures stand higher up the slopes, waiting to be found.

TA#785 is an original textured landscape painting showing knife-ridged orange desert dunes with a tiny camel caravan, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

The orange carries well on putty, greige and stone-coloured walls and answers tan leather, camel bouclé, rattan and aged brass. In a restaurant, give it the wall that a booth or long table looks straight at, hung low enough that the tiny caravan can be spotted between courses. Keep it off terracotta or orange paint, where the dune edges dissolve into the wall. Its upright shape fills a tall, narrow panel beside a window or sits over a bed under a modest ceiling.

Specified for restaurant & bar, lobby & reception, guest room & suite and living room; it reads as cozy & warm and uplifting.

Pairs well with

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for TA#785 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Because the surface is not rolled, the choice is between stretched, ready to hang, and stretched in a frame; a frame costs more.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on TA#785 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Where are the camels in TA#785, and how big are they?

They are deliberately small: a short file of dark brown silhouettes in the middle of the lower half, plus a few lone figures on the upper slopes. Most people notice them only when they come close, and that discovery is what gives the desert its scale.

Which accent colours sit well beside the orange dunes of TA#785?

Deep teal, olive and slate blue pick up the cool strip of sky and balance the orange, and ink navy or charcoal works for upholstery. Keep other warm accents to tan and cognac so they support the saffron sand instead of competing with it.

Is TA#785 a print or an original painting?

An original. TA#785 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of TA#785 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
