About this painting

Deep forest green and chalky off-white meet down the middle of the canvas along a stepped edge, like two walls of masonry pushed together. On the left the green darkens from sage at the top to almost black near the bottom; on the right the pale blocks sit side by side in short, square strokes.

Everything is built with a broad knife. Each block is a flat slab of paint with a raised lip where the blade lifted away, so the whole surface becomes a grid of small ledges. The jagged seam where the two colours interlock is the line you follow, top to bottom.

TA#200 is an original textured geometric painting showing thick knife-textured blocks in dark green and white, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

A two-colour split and strong verticals suit corporate walls that need order more than decoration: behind a reception counter, at the end of a boardroom, or in a home office seen through the door. On white paint the off-white half merges into the wall and the green seems to float; against warm grey or plaster the full rectangle shows. A ceiling washer aimed down the wall turns every block edge into a line of shadow.

Specified for workspace & office, meeting & boardroom, lobby & reception and home office; it reads as bold.

Pairs well with

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for TA#200 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Because the surface is not rolled, the choice is between stretched, ready to hang, and stretched in a frame; a frame costs more.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on TA#200 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Is the green in TA#200 one colour or several?

Several. The left half moves from a soft sage-olive at the top through bottle green to near-black at the bottom edge, and individual blocks shift within that range. The variation gives the field depth, so it never looks like a flat painted panel even at large sizes.

Can TA#200 be painted with the dark half on the right?

Yes, the abstract split works as a mirror image, which is useful when two canvases flank a doorway or a lift lobby and should face inward, dark sides towards the opening. Say which side the green should sit on when ordering; the block structure reads equally well either way.

Is TA#200 a print or an original painting?

An original. TA#200 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of TA#200 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
