About this painting

A tall, round-topped slab of white plaster is grooved with concentric lines that tighten towards a narrow oval at its centre, like a thumbprint or the rings of a sawn log. The grooves expose the warm grey ground beneath, so each ring shows as a dark line between raised white ridges, and the slab's outer edge is left rough and crumbling.

Pressed against its left side stands a black L-shaped form, a narrow column with a foot kicking out to the left at the base, carrying its own smaller grooved loops. The grey ground shows only as a margin around both shapes, faintly grained.

TA#629 is an original textured geometric painting showing concentric white plaster arch ridges on grey with a black textured form at left, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a sculpted relief surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Because the pattern pulls inward to one centre, it works where people stop and face it rather than pass at an angle: the short wall of a meeting room that everyone faces, or behind a desk that doubles as a video-call backdrop. Warm grey, mushroom and stone walls let the white slab glow; on stark white it loses its edge. A downlight close to the wall turns every groove into a crisp line.

Specified for workspace & office, meeting & boardroom, living room and home office; it reads as moody and bold.

Pairs well with

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for TA#629 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Because the surface is not rolled, the choice is between stretched, ready to hang, and stretched in a frame; a frame costs more.
Surface
Sculpted relief is built up in layers with drying time between them, so it costs more than a flat painting of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on TA#629 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Is TA#629 meant to be a fingerprint?

It can read as one, or as tree rings or the contour map of a hill; nothing on the canvas fixes a single reading. The concentric grooves suggest growth and identity, which makes it apt for a reception or office wall where an abstract piece with a human trace is wanted.

Why does TA#629 have a black form beside the white slab?

The black L-shape stops the composition from being one centred object. It shifts weight to the left, gives the white a dark edge to push against, and repeats the grooved loops at a smaller scale. Black lamp bases, window frames or shelving in the room will echo it.

Is TA#629 a print or an original painting?

An original. TA#629 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of TA#629 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
