About this painting

A sky blue rectangle and a stack of cream and white slabs sit inside a deep green border, like pieces of a collage pinned to a board. A small navy rectangle is set into the cream block, and a thin green stripe drops from the white slab into the blue, stitching the two fields together. Near the bottom edge a lone white block stands apart.

Each area has its own surface: the green ground mottled and cratered, the blue scuffed with criss-cross trowel scrapes, the white slabs finely combed. Raised edges throw thin shadows, so the layering reads from across a room.

TA#212 is an original textured geometric painting showing textured plaster blocks in green, sky blue, cream and white, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Its grid-like order sits naturally in a workspace: a boardroom wall facing the windows, the backdrop a webcam sees behind a home-office chair, or the far end of an open office where the green shows above partitions. Green and blue make a cool pair, so warm the room with oak, cane or camel leather. Over a sofa or console, the white block at the base gives the canvas a firm lower edge.

Specified for workspace & office, meeting & boardroom, home office and living room; it reads as calming and moody.

Pairs well with

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for TA#212 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Because the surface is not rolled, the choice is between stretched, ready to hang, and stretched in a frame; a frame costs more.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on TA#212 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

What is the thin green line in the middle of TA#212?

A single raised green stripe, roughly a finger wide, running from the base of the white slab down into the blue field. It breaks the long horizontal of the blue, links the upper blocks to the lower half and repeats the green of the border inside the composition.

Does TA#212 need other green in the room to make sense?

No. The green is dark and earthy, nearer moss than emerald, so beside wood and stone it behaves almost like a neutral. If one link is wanted, a single green cushion or a plant is enough, and the sky blue sits easily with denim or chambray fabrics.

Is TA#212 a print or an original painting?

An original. TA#212 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of TA#212 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
