About this painting

A tall strip of sage green, ribbed with horizontal grooves like corrugated sheet, runs down the left side of a collage of weathered panels. To its right, a dark umber block mottled with grey is cut by herringbone ridges, a small upright fold of white corrugation and an angled scrap of ochre; below come a band of rust-brown chevrons, then a wide block of white flaking over charcoal like old whitewash.

A sand-beige strip of vertical reeding runs along the bottom, and a small smooth white square closes the lower left corner.

TA#039 is an original textured abstract painting showing weathered collage of ribbed panels in sage green, rust, brown, white and beige, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a sculpted relief surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Its colours bridge warm and cool finishes, which helps in a reception area that mixes grey marble with pale timber or cream upholstery: the sage strip and the beige reeding each pick up one side. A narrow gold or black float frame both work. In a corridor, light it with a grazing wall washer, because the ribs, chevrons and reeding run in different directions, so the panels catch the light one after another as people walk past.

Specified for lobby & reception, corridor & circulation, entryway & hallway and living room; it reads as cozy & warm and moody.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for TA#039 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Because the surface is not rolled, the choice is between stretched, ready to hang, and stretched in a frame; a frame costs more.
Surface
Sculpted relief is built up in layers with drying time between them, so it costs more than a flat painting of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on TA#039 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

What materials does the surface of TA#039 call to mind?

Several at once. The sage strip looks like painted corrugated sheet, the dark upper block like bark or rusted iron, the white band like peeling whitewash and the bottom strip like timber reeding. All of it is built up in plaster texture and paint on canvas, not assembled from real salvage.

Could the sage strip of TA#039 be swapped for a different colour?

Yes, and it changes the mood more than altering any other panel would. The sage green strip is the one cool note in a canvas otherwise made of rust, umber, white and beige, so swapping it for slate blue, ochre or charcoal shifts the whole balance. Keeping the other panels as painted preserves the weathered character.

Is TA#039 a print or an original painting?

An original. TA#039 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of TA#039 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
