About this painting

A slab of olive green dragged down from the top edge in heavy knife strokes hangs over a curving white sweep at the base, and one wire-thin black line scribbles between them. At the left, a lime-green block and a near-black forest-green wedge stack up along the edge, the darkest note on the canvas.

The white sweep is combed into curved striations that follow its arc, while the olive keeps the vertical drag of the knife, so the two textures run at right angles. The ground between is a scuffed, open grey-white, and the black line loops, zigzags and ends in one sharp diagonal.

TA#616 is an original textured geometric painting showing olive and dark green knife smears with a sculpted white plaster sweep and black scribble lines, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a sculpted relief surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Greens this muted calm a working room without the chill of grey-blue. Hang it on the short wall a boardroom table points towards, or beside a tall bookcase in a study, where its upright shape echoes the shelving. Light oak, sage upholstery, black steel frames and cream curtains all suit it. Keep neighbouring art quiet so the black line stays the sharpest mark on the wall.

Specified for workspace & office, meeting & boardroom, home office and living room; it reads as bold and calming.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for TA#616 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Because the surface is not rolled, the choice is between stretched, ready to hang, and stretched in a frame; a frame costs more.
Surface
Sculpted relief is built up in layers with drying time between them, so it costs more than a flat painting of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on TA#616 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

What is the scribbled black line doing on TA#616?

It is the only fast gesture among slow, heavy strokes. The line ties the olive slab to the lime and dark-green blocks and gives the composition movement, like a pen note scrawled across plaster. Take it away and the olive, lime and dark green would sit as three unrelated patches.

Does TA#616 work above a green sofa?

Yes, if the sofa matches one of its greens rather than falling between them. Deep olive or bottle-green velvet picks up the upper slab and the dark corner wedge; a bright emerald would fight both. The white sweep at the base keeps a clean break between upholstery and painting.

Is TA#616 a print or an original painting?

An original. TA#616 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of TA#616 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
