A broken ridge of thick pewter-grey paint cuts across the canvas, with a pale overcast sky above and a deep green field spreading below.

The sky is mostly smooth off-white, broken by small raised crests of white that read as drifting cloud. The ridge is the thickest part, piled up and pulled sideways with a knife so its upper edge catches light. Below it the green starts pale and minty near the horizon and darkens towards the bottom, laid in horizontal drags with streaks of white that could be mist over grass or foam on water.
