About this painting

Sunlight catches one shoulder of a grey, snow-streaked mountain range in acid yellow-green, while the rest of the peaks stay cool beneath a lilac sky.

Below them a turquoise lake spreads almost the full width of the canvas, smooth and pale against the busy slopes, and a ragged band of indigo and violet shrubs runs along the near shore. The mountain flanks are dragged on with the knife in long diagonal strokes, so snow and shadow look scraped rather than drawn. A wisp of peach cloud in the top right corner is the only warm colour outside the sunlit slope.

IA#788 is an original impressionist landscape painting showing mountain range with yellow-green sunlit slopes above a turquoise lake and dark foreground shrubs, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 24×20 in (61×51 cm) to 80×60 in (203×153 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

A long horizontal of this kind belongs on a boardroom end wall or behind a reception desk, where people take it in while standing or waiting. Its cool palette pairs with grey upholstery, mirrored or glass furniture and dark painted walls; against charcoal, the sunlit slope outshines everything around it. Over a dining table, centre it on the table rather than the wall so the lake line runs level above the diners.

Specified for meeting & boardroom, lobby & reception, living room and dining room; it reads as peaceful and dramatic.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for IA#788 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 24×20 in to 80×60 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on IA#788 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Why is only part of the mountain in IA#788 lit yellow?

It shows a break in the cloud: one shaft of sun lighting a single slope while the rest of the range stays in shadow. That contrast is the drama of the painting, so the yellow-green is kept to the left half and not repeated anywhere else.

Could the lilac sky in IA#788 be shifted bluer for a cooler scheme?

Yes. The sky and the foreground shrubs can move from lilac and violet towards grey-blue and navy while the turquoise lake and the yellow-green slope stay as painted. Ask for it when ordering, and the shift is checked on the progress photos before the next stage begins.

Is IA#788 a print or an original painting?

An original. IA#788 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of IA#788 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
