About this painting

A thin white waterfall drops through a grey gorge beneath a mauve mountain peak, while a cloud of deep ultramarine sweeps in from the right with tiny white birds flying through it.

The layout follows Chinese landscape painting: stacked rock ledges, mist between them, and a pale rocky slope that climbs from the lower left into the scene. Small trees in orange, coral pink, green and pale blue dot the ledges. The rocks are dry-brushed and scraped so the canvas grain shows through, while the blue cloud is the most heavily worked passage on the canvas.

IA#128 is an original impressionist landscape painting showing Chinese-style mountain with waterfall, colourful trees and a blue mist cloud with birds, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

One strong blue makes it easy to place: a reception wall in travertine, limestone or pale timber, a tea lounge, or a spa corridor where guests see it as they walk towards it. Pick up the ultramarine once, in a cushion, a glaze or a rug, and keep everything else neutral. Its tall, scroll-like proportion sits well between two doors or in a shallow niche.

Specified for lobby & reception, corridor & circulation, spa & wellness and entryway & hallway; it reads as peaceful and dramatic.

Pairs well with

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for IA#128 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on IA#128 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

What tradition is IA#128 drawing on?

Chinese shan shui, or mountain-and-water painting, where peaks, falling water, mist and small trees are stacked vertically to suggest a journey into the landscape. That structure is kept here, but the colour is modern, with a vivid acrylic blue in place of ink wash.

What are the white marks in the blue cloud of IA#128?

Small birds, painted as quick white flicks and flying in a loose flock across the blue. They give the cloud scale and movement, and they are easy to miss from a distance, so they reward anyone who stops to look closely.

Is IA#128 a print or an original painting?

An original. IA#128 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of IA#128 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
