About this painting

A pale city skyline lines a waterfront, its towers fading upward into peach and lavender haze while their reflections drop straight down into still, milky water. On the right, a suspension bridge with one dark tower runs out of the frame, the heaviest shape on the canvas.

Charcoal and slate blocks crowd the middle distance, the far towers turn beige and apricot, and small ochre lights flicker at the waterline. Below, paint is dragged vertically so the reflections blur into streaks, dotted with tiny white sails. Edges are crisp and knife-cut in the buildings, soft in the water.

IA#176 is an original impressionist cityscape painting showing city skyline with a bridge reflected in the water below, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 11 standard sizes run from 36×18 in (91×46 cm) to 100×50 in (254×127 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Pale and low in contrast, the skyline needs a darker surround to hold its wall: walnut or smoked-oak panelling, a charcoal paint finish, bronze glass behind a reception desk. Its long, low band of buildings sits at eye level along a boardroom wall without dominating a meeting. Above a bed set against dark timber the white sky glows; on a white wall it looks softer, closer to a drawing, which suits a quiet office floor.

Specified for lobby & reception, meeting & boardroom, workspace & office and living room; it reads as calming and peaceful.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for IA#176 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 36×18 in to 100×50 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on IA#176 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Is IA#176 a portrait of a specific city?

It is not titled after one. The towers are loosely blocked shapes and the bridge is a single dark tower with cables, so the scene reads as a waterfront city in general. A recognisable skyline can be commissioned from a photograph the buyer supplies.

What are the white marks on the water in IA#176?

Small sailing boats, each a single upright flick of white with a short reflection underneath. Spread across the middle of the water, they set the scale of the scene and stop the long vertical reflections from reading as pure abstraction.

Is IA#176 a print or an original painting?

An original. IA#176 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of IA#176 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
