Two white peacocks share a low perch in a forest clearing, one standing upright with its head raised, the other nestled against it with its head bowed to the left. The front bird's tail spreads wide and falls almost to the bottom edge in fine white plumes, each eye marked with pale gold and a touch of blue.

Behind them the woodland is dark olive and brown, with a thin waterfall dropping at upper left and a misty, faintly rainbow-tinted light opening between the tail feathers. Small blue, pink and yellow wildflowers rise on thin stems along the lower edge.
