About this painting

Seen from straight above, emerald sea breaks onto pale sand in a series of jagged bands, each dark green ridge followed by a stripe of thick white foam.

The water is deep bottle green marbled with lighter jade, and where each wave thins out the foam breaks into a lacy white web over the dark. Paint is piled highest in those foam bands, which stand up in ridges, while the sand at the base is a smooth blush beige. The zigzag edges repeat down the canvas like a mountain range, so the picture works as an abstract pattern as much as a beach.

HA#1016 is an original hyperrealist seascape painting showing aerial view of dark green ocean waves with white foam reaching a sandy shore, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Dark green and white is a classic marble pairing, so the canvas sits naturally beside green veined stone, Carrara, brushed brass and pale oak. A spa can use it facing a treatment-room door; in a guest bathroom it belongs away from the shower, across from the basin, where it picks up sage towels and potted ferns. Keep the wall behind it light: on dark paint the green water merges with the wall and only the foam shows.

Specified for spa & wellness, corridor & circulation, guest room & suite, entryway & hallway and bathroom; it reads as calming and peaceful.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for HA#1016 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on HA#1016 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Should the sand in HA#1016 always hang at the bottom?

Yes. The sand anchors the composition and gives the eye somewhere to land after following the foam downward. Turned upside down the picture still holds together as an abstract, but the sense of waves arriving on a shore is lost.

How does the foam texture on HA#1016 look under a downlight?

A ceiling downlight close to the wall grazes the white foam bands and throws small shadows under each ridge, so the surf looks brighter and more sculpted. The green water stays smooth and dark, which keeps the contrast between surf and sea strong.

Is HA#1016 a print or an original painting?

An original. HA#1016 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of HA#1016 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
