About this painting

Two peacocks share one curved branch: a cobalt-blue male trailing a long green tail on the left, and an all-white bird fanning pale plumes on the right. Their heads almost touch at the centre. Orange-rimmed eyespots are picked out one by one along the green train, while the white tail is built from fine, feathery strokes with faint sage eyes.

Behind them sits a soft garden of olive shrubs, a palm frond at top left and hazy blue trees. Below the branch a pool of pale gold light opens into the distance, giving the dense foliage room to breathe. The finish is smooth and detailed.

HA#049 is an original hyperrealist animal painting showing a blue-green peacock and a white peacock perched together on a branch in a lush garden, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 24×20 in (61×51 cm) to 80×60 in (203×153 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Wide and finely detailed, it rewards a wall where people pause rather than pass: behind a hotel reception counter, opposite banquette seating in a restaurant, or over the credenza in a private dining room. Emerald velvet, brass fittings and dark walnut pick up the green tail and gold wing, while a cream or stone wall lets the white bird stand clear. The white peacock is the brightest area and sits right of centre, so keep that side out of a shadowed corner.

Specified for lobby & reception, restaurant & bar, living room and dining room; it reads as peaceful and romantic.

Pairs well with

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for HA#049 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 24×20 in to 80×60 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Flat brushwork takes less paint and time than impasto or relief work of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on HA#049 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

What do the blue and white peacocks in HA#049 stand for?

A pair of peacocks is often read as standing for devotion and good fortune, and setting a jewel-coloured bird beside a white one adds a contrast of character. Facing each other on a single branch, they suit a wedding venue, a bridal suite or a couple's own dining room.

How fine is the feather detail in HA#049 up close?

Fine enough to study at arm's length. Each eyespot on the green tail is outlined separately in orange, gold and dark red, and the white plumes are laid in thin, hair-like strokes, so the canvas holds up beside a reception desk or a dining table where guests sit close.

Is HA#049 a print or an original painting?

An original. HA#049 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of HA#049 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
