About this painting

One white lotus, its gold seed head glowing at the centre, opens against a charcoal-grey ground while a closed bud rises on its own thin stem at lower left.

The bloom sits high and slightly left, its broad petals shaded from pure white to soft grey in smooth, blended strokes. Behind it the ground lightens to a misty taupe, as if the light came from the flower itself. Gold is used sparingly but throughout: a burst behind the top petal, scattered flecks, and thin drip lines falling from top to bottom, echoing the upright stems.

HA#1188 is an original hyperrealist floral painting showing single white lotus bloom and bud on a dark grey ground scattered with gold leaf flecks, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

The dark ground needs a wall that is lighter or warmer than charcoal, such as limestone, greige plaster or bleached oak, so the canvas reads as a window rather than a hole. It suits a spa reception, the corridor between treatment rooms, a hotel suite's dressing area or a powder room kept away from shower steam. In a restaurant, hang it opposite the door of a private dining room, where guests see it as they sit down.

Specified for spa & wellness, restaurant & bar, guest room & suite and bathroom; it reads as dramatic and peaceful.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for HA#1188 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Flat brushwork takes less paint and time than impasto or relief work of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on HA#1188 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

What does the white lotus in HA#1188 symbolise?

Purity and renewal, in the most common reading: the lotus grows out of muddy water yet flowers clean, which gives it a central place in Buddhist and Hindu art, white blooms above all. Spas and meditation rooms often choose it for exactly that association.

Does HA#1188 have any colour besides white, gold and grey?

No. The palette is limited to white, soft grey, charcoal and gold, with a faint warm taupe behind the bloom. That restraint lets it sit easily among black, stone and brass, but it will look cold beside saturated colour unless the room has warm wood.

Is HA#1188 a print or an original painting?

An original. HA#1188 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of HA#1188 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
